Cookies, Cookies, Cookies!

Today on Confessions of a Pagan Soccer Mom, Mrs. B is giving away "Field Guide to Cookies" from Irreference Books.

I've been on a baking kick lately. Chris likes his junk food and it really is cheaper, tastier and more natural to make your own cookies. No corn syrup, no chemicals I can't pronounce, well except in the chocolate chip cookies I'm sure.

I'd like to make gingerbread people for the kids this year. And on Irreference's site, there's a recipe for English Toffee which would be great for adults...it's my favorite candy anyway.

I'll post pictures on how it goes. If anyone actually reads this and has a gingerbread recipe they've used and know is good, please e-mail me at lilwolfmama@gmail.com.

New Blog Giveaway via Mrs. B

Confessions of a Pagan Soccer Mom has yet another giveaway. I love this lady! She always posts great blogs with family and food ideas and mixes in reviews and fabulous giveaways. I won a necklace recently from Lisa Brawner. Then she throws in an extra necklace just as a special treat. Yeah, I was treated. Go check out her stuff.

Today Mrs. B is helping Ecostore give away a $25 gift certificate to their online store. Their products appear to be all natural and missing some of the "extras" that mainstream shampoos and conditioners add just so we think they are working. I'm very interested to try their products and may have to order some even if I don't win.

So, go enter the giveaway here or go see Ecostore here. They also have a fantastic blog you can view here.

Cute cover! It's one of the reasons I enjoy chick-lit, the colorful and cartooney covers.
