Review of Latest Agatha Raisin Mystery

Agatha Raisin returns for another mystery. Will this be her last? We left off at an engagement party for her exhusband and obsession James Lacey. She is taking it as a personal failure and feeling old and frumpy as he is engaged to a very young beauty.

However we find that James is less than happy about the upcoming wedding, but is threatened with breach of contract and must go through with it until someone shoots his bride minutes before she is due to walk down the isle.

Who did it? James, knowing he wanted a way out of it? Agatha in a fit of jealousy? This mystery is full of twists and turns and suprises. Even if you figure out who did do it, the reasons and the side stories will suprise you. This mystery is full of suspense and it really pushes Agatha to the very edges of her abilities, so much so that she questions everything in her life.

The good news? It seems she may finally leave behind her James obsession and accept him as the good friend and neighbor he really is.
