Witch Hunts???

Today begins 30 days of advocacy against witch hunts. I see quite often from Mrs. B (of Confessions of a Pagan Soccer Mom fame) articles about honest to god, real witch hunts still going on. A lot of them are in Africa, but there are still problems here. Not much of a surprise considering you are still encouraged to hide if you are gay, jewish, islamic or anything out of the "norm" - god forbid you are pagan, you'll have everyone after you.

Today I want to share a couple of great blogs that are featuring articles on this topic.
These are great blogs that I enjoy reading on any given today. Today they are especially deep articles that will tug at your heart and make you think.

  1. Aw, thanks for sharing a link to my blog, sweetie! You know how much I adore yours!
    Blessings in abundance,

  2. Thank you for posting on the witch hunts in Africa. It's so important to get the word out. I'll be posting on it over the next week. I'm following you now and grabbing your button :)

  3. I'm so glad to see more people posting about this. It's something we really have to bring to light. I'm just getting started in blogland with my new blog, but I'm working on posting about 30 days of advocacy against witch hunts into my daily blogging over the next month.

  4. Thanks for posting about this issue. In Nigeria children who've been accused of witchcraft face abandonment by their families and communities, torture, public humiliation, disgrace and even murder. To help end this terrible abuse you please sign the PACT to Prevent Abuse of Children Today - www.makeapact.org

PACT is a global campaign established by the UK-based child rights charity Stepping Stones Nigeria and their Nigerian partner organisations.

  5. Thank you for supporting Touchstone Advocacy's '30 days of advocacy against witch-hunts'.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. :0)
